My UPS has a THD of 80%. How much, if at all, will this mess up my headphone amp's cleanliness?

Not all the way to 80%.  That was from memory.  It actually says:

"WARNING: DEVICE OUTPUT NOT SINUSOIDAL.  THD 63% SINGLE HARMONIC DISTORTION 52%"

 

Will this affect my audio?

computer UPS's should only be used with SMPS's because they don't output a sinusoidal waveform. Magic smoke is a possibility.

That sounds awfully high if true. I use a PS Audio P5 Regenerator and it says the input on the line is about 2.1% THD and that it's fixing it and outputting 0.3% THD. I can't speak to the accuracy of those readings but I do seem to find it improves things.

If you are showing 52-63% THD, I can't imagine that would sound good but perhaps you could call the manufacturer and ask them. Either way it sounds like it's broken.

It's not broken.  What I'm talking about aren't measurements.  It says these things on a sticker on the bottom of the UPS.  This is by design.

Oh, then if that's intentional you'd definitely want to call the manufacturer, though I don't know what kind of answer they'd give you since I doubt they would have any frame of reference for what we decide is high quality audio, and since they probably wouldn't know much about the electronics in your gear.

This UPS sounds like it's designed to drive something that's heavily filtered or otherwise alright with a non-sinusoidal output, like an SMPS. An unregulated linear PSU that you'd find in a lot of audio equipment would probably be less than pleased to receive this UPS as a gift.
