JDS Labs C421 vs Little Dot Mark III --?

parameters of decision:

 

both have similar price, so that's not the issue.

 

I don't like tube rolling.

I need it be compatible to fit also IEM's.

it needs to be as reliable as possible.

 

heard good praises about both, but i guess they do have different sound/flavor.

 

 

Need your opinion guys...

Then you should buy a C421. Little dot MKIIIs shine significantly only with tube rolling, I mean without tube upgrading or mod, MK IIIs are still fine but not as good as C421. According to your requirements C421s are more suitable than little dot MK IIIs.

 

If you order a C421, then you should consider which OPA is best for you. Google or search on the forum to find out the OPA you like, 2227 or 8620.

The Little Dot will likely hiss and hum like crazy with IEMs so another plus for the C421.
