I have an external 1TB drive but it is HFS+ (Mac OS X) formatted :( so you have to either install something to read it on a Windows machine or use a Macintosh computer... have some music on there. quite a bit of lossless.

Yeah same here. My external drive is formated in ext4, the default Linux filesystem format. Another reason not to bother bringing it along. I'll have a 32GB USB flash drive though, so I'll have something to swap stuff between computers.

ugh, a bit worried that my M^3 might not make it to the meet. the parts were supposed to arrive yesterday, but now it says today: Shipment Exception... I am missing: RCA inputs, Power Entry Module... and the case I wanted to put them in. this sucks big time.
Those are all optional.
I'm sure you can be creative and still have it there tomorrow. I mean, it's still functional, right? Just use spade connectors on a power cord. Mount the boards on standoffs to a piece of wood or plastic. As for the RCAs, do you have a spare TRS socket? This could do.
It would make a nice showpiece, at least.
I actually need a luggage too. A sport bag would be handy to transport the desktop units. I just don't have one... I boxed the units as for shipping, and will carry them in one of those reusable grocery bag. I might as well be wearing a pink shirt that says "Mug me".
Edit: Or people will just think I'm carrying my groceries... Yeah I'll try to make myself believe this is the case. It'll make my travel less worrisome.

Just making sure we're allowed pictures, video and such.
I was hoping to get some stock footage for my project (I can print out the project guidelines if you feel more comfortable with proof that it's for a project).
Hey fellow audiophile Montrealers; if anyone wants to have fun and discover new things, I recommend you got the Salon Son & Image; it's this weekend! Most things you see are for sale and at discounted rates, so it's a good opportunity to do your shopping :D
