No quackery intended.

Lol this is funny though. I never seen this before until this thread. If I still had my Grados I just might have to try this and walk around campus.

I'll get some panda shaped wash pad and try this with my Ultrasones.

Naw, I'm just kidding. But have you really tried it? I'd be curious as to how it sounds.

Definitely trying this when I find the appropriate headphones and set of sponges.

When I first saw the image, I thought "wow, I vaguely remember that" - and then you linked to the original thread! smily_headphones1.gif

Anyways, what I've always wondered is - those sponges look like the "scrubby" ones, and I cannot imagine having that pressed against my skin...

They're also on backwards, so I doubt this was very seriously undertaken. frown.gif

Mod them then :) Put the soft spongey side on your ears! Heck, get super soft panda spongest

But sponges aren't that soft...they get dry and hard and flakey. frown.gif

Closest Panda thing I could find:

LOL. That would be the single most crazy earpad. You know, I've been trying to find some replacement pads for my Monitor 10s, maybe these will do....

Well, there are scrubbies with one soft side. I have one with a soft, spongy side... I'll try to get two more of them.
It could be the cheapest way to mod your Grados. biggrin.gif
