Great choice. The amps  they make are very well designed and engineered. Now, tell me is there any amp made for normal headphones that is as cool and sexy as the Blue Hawaii??? That one really does if for me.

Meier Audio Corda Jazz or Lake People G103-S to pair with the HiFiMan HE-500??

 

 

 

I've been stewing over the question of which of these two highly rated amps is the best fit with my new HE-500's.  The Lake People G103-S is about $90 cheaper than the Corda Jazz but the latter has some interesting features like the crossfeed filter and active balanced ground.  More important is SQ with neutrality, realistic soundstage, detail and tonal accuracy the prime considerations. 

 

Any recommendations?

Waiting for the beautiful Blue Hawaii SE, i read so many impressions about. A friend and i ordered one some time ago and we hope to have it in a couple of weeks to enter a new listening experience with our stax 007 and 009.

I'm about to order a Schiit Asgard soon for my iPad -> DT770 80 ohm system, not sure about it yet though.. Maybe should get a DAC as well, as expensive as it sounds all together frown.gif

Love to get dual monoblock class A tube amps for my 6s but will most likely get a quality high end SS speaker amp instead. First comes a new DAC.
