Proper power & output impedance for AKG K 702s: Grace m903?

Hi,

I am on the verge of ordering a Grace Design m903 DAC/headphone amp to drive my AKG K702 headphones. They are rated at 62 ohms with a max power rating of 200 mW. The hf amp in the m903 has an output impedance of 1.2 ohm and has a max power output of about 1.2 watts @ 50 ohm and 600 mW at 100 ohm (250 ohm = 240 mW and 600 ohm = 100 mW). This seems like a good match impedance and power wise to make them perform properly. Does anyone have experience with this hf amp with K702s? Also I see that it has a cross feed circuit designed by Jan Meier. Do people who own this amp use this feature?

I haven't heard the Grace but the specs will be more than enough.

 

Can't you audition it before pulling the trigger? That's the only way to really tell if you like it.

Well...

 

I ordered a Grace m903 today with some Neumann KH 120 Monitors.  I will let the forum know my impressions with the AKGs. With an output impedance >50x lower than their input impedance and somewhere between 600-1200mW available to power them, they should sound good (or at least that is the plan!).
