I'm thinking of a getting a DAC + headphone amplifier as long as I can both for under $2000. For the maximum price I've observed there are quite a few options - Benchmark, Grace m903, etc. But there are other interesting options like the Schiit entry combo in Asgard + Bifrost and higher level Gungnir + Mjolnir. I was wondering if anyone with experience with any of these source components can recommend one over the other. Specifically how is the Asgard + Bifrost option compared to m903 with regards to sound quality (both DAC & Amplifier separately), flexibility with regard to connection options, etc. I'm also open to other componenets based on user experience.
