Buying earphones in Australia

Any Australians here can give some advice on buying earphones here? I don't want to walk into the typical electronics shop and get ripped off on some crap earphones, as what usually happens when people do that...

The cables on my yuin pk2 just got sliced in half by....SOMETHING...(i have no idea what, i was just walking along and it got sliced...) so i'm looking into the blox m2c as a replacement. In the meantime i want to get another pair of earbuds to replace my backup set which is starting to fail, any recommendations?

headphones.com.au has a pair of HiSound PAA-1 for $29, but their shipping could take pretty long and i want something decent that i can get in a store.

JB hi-fi has the sennheiser MX 271 and SNMX 270 at $25...are those any good?

There's also the AKG K311MK at $30...

If you are located in Melbourne. You can try the following 2 stores.

Jaben audio: http://www.jaben.com.au/pages/about-us

addicted to audio: http://www.addictedtoaudio.com.au/contact-us

They can help you out with pretty much everything.

Is the Blox M2C actually available somewhere, it's said "out of stcok" for a while, the OEM housing and attention to detail is dazzling!

In Melbourne there is the above two stores and Stereo.

If you want a cheap earbud you can try the Final Audio Piano Forte II.

Living in sydney actually.

Looking at A2A now...cheapest ones they have are : http://www.addictedtoaudio.com.au/AudioTechnica-ATHC101-Earphones and http://www.addictedtoaudio.com.au/Sennheiser-MX470-Street-5416. For that price i could get Yuin PK3s...(although of course it would take much longer to ship from HK).

No clue if the m2c is in stock yet, i sent them an email. I last emailed them around chinese new year and they said they had no stock because of chinese new year. Maybe they are using an unreliable factory that makes it hard for them to get stock....or maybe they are just selling mainly in the domestic market.
