It arrived today.  Popped my E17 into it and found the bass opens up nicely on my Senn HD600s.   Haven't tried anything else yet, but that was my hardest to drive pair of phones ....

Hire?
I'd do it for free. Though I don't speak Chinese.

I'm sure there are Chinese speaking members who'd be willing to do it.

Does anybody have experience in how well the E09k will pair with the Denon D5000 or D7000?

Well, obviously not you since your Chinese is not up to scratch either.

I wasn't referring to anyone in specific, really.

Considering the E09k is supposedly the same thing as the E9...I have experience with the D7000 + E9 and it's actually way better than it should be.

The E9 has plenty of power, and the D series loves SS amps. Slap it on high gain and you've got something special for around 600 bucks all in. Seriously enjoyable. I liked the Yulong D100 more, but it's also a much more expensive amp/DAC.

Is your E09K still functioning well for you? I've been thinking about buying this to go with a cd player and my hp's (Senn HD598 & Grado SRI60i). Do you think this setup would function well?

Still waiting for the E15. Are there any news on that?

None, the last news on it...are exactly from a long time ago. However with the X3 and E12 being a big project right now it may take a while longer maybe? But there is/was no news of this year, FiiO released a pretty extensive list on their website on what they were developing up to what I believe to be Q1 2013

2.4GHz Wireless Streamer and Receiver W1

E18 Android DAC and amp

E02i Smartphone Headphone amplifier

E12 Flagship portable amplifier with crossfeed

G01 guitar amp

E07K USB DAC headphone amplifier to replace E7

D07 Multi channel audio converter

RC-X IEM recables for UE, Westone and Shure

And X3 project restarted

E90K released already

Besides the E90K, none of these products have been released yet but all seem to be in good development.

G01 and E02i are in review stages pre release.

W1 model was said to be post final sample stages now on facebook:

E12 product beta is currently being tested in house I believe as pictures of it has showed up at their Berlin fair and a new rendering yesterday

I realize this is a bit of a necro, but I'm curious about something with the E09K.

When I have my E17 docked to my E09K and connected to my PC via the USB port, the volume on the E17 appears to directly influence the volume on the E09K.  Is there a preferred setting for the E17 to be set at when docked?  It's just kind of weird and I want to ensure I'm getting the best quality sound.

Hey... see the little switch on the right side of the E17?  Use a pin to flick that to the other position.  That's how I had it, but I switched it back because you said you were going to be using it on the MBTA and that's how it has to be for direct use.

Hope you enjoy it!

How do i hook the ipod or sony mp3 on E09K? i do not see any 3.5mm on E09K

Can anyone tell me the differences between the E17 standalone and the E17+E09k combo in terms of sound quality?

I have a pair of 32Ω K550's. I know they don't need any strong amplification, but they do indeed benefit well from amping. Currently owning the E17, I'm considering adding the E09k to my setup.
