Schiit Valhalla: Now with 100% More Rollability! - Page 2

Yeah. With my new love of the HD800 (and consideration of the T1) the Valhalla looks great as a desktop or possibly bedside rig...Plus the ability to roll the same tubes between both my amps would be really cool...and give me more of an excuse to buy tubes. :D

I think the T1 and Valhalla is a great combo. I'm also thinking about something similar, it doesn't seems Schiit's

statement gear will use compatible tubes as Lyr. So I might just go with the LF.

You won't be disappointed by the LF if you go that route. Especially with the LFr2 in sight.

I know you're very enthusiastic about how good, er, magical the LF is. Really a LFr2 when he's doing the LL? Don't tease!

As to not take this off topic any further I'd check out Alex's new sponsor threads. He's been talking about the LFr2, and teasing the Liquid Glass as well. He's got a lot in the works.

Take a look.

On topic again: I could see the Bifrost + Valhalla making it to my bedside table with a good set of LF tubes in it. :D If I ever get a desk job it could work there too I suppose.

Anyway, congrats on the upgrade. I look forward to impressions (especially from some E88CC users).

I've used my Valhalla beside for quite sometime now and it is really amazing with the T1. I love that little amp.

LF looks sweet but there is something to be said about matched quads vs Valhalla/Lyr matched pairs. There is no way personally I could have experimented with the 6922 family if I had to buy 4 each time. However this is probably not so much of an issue with many members on here

I could be wrong, but I really don't think LF has the depth of tube rolling the Lyr does. Valhalla I think is going to be a fun addition.

That's what the Liquid Glass is for. wink.gif

Real Quick: Send a link to Alex's anything on the LFr2 or Liquid Glass, I am only seeing old LF and new LL info.

I wonder if this update adds autobiasing like the Lyr, so we can use some of our 7v favs
