Nuckin Futz here has both, maybe he can quickly describe the differences to you.

I also liked the Phonaks (tops to Sonny for lending them), thought they had a similar sig just didn't extend quite as far. As far as your wallet goes, you could always sell the 06 on, they're in short supply! smily_headphones1.gif

To be honest if you like the dynamic sound of earphones then in the price range the GR07 will be the IEM you will have to get mainly because the BAs in the price range that may even be classed as better will, probably have to lean a bass and just a different sound in general so for that reason i think the GR07s are the way to go.

Yes the Phonak tips are great on them right, i think they are even better on the GR06s actually. Just shame they keep falling of in your ear hey :L

Technically they are superior on all fronts but the 06 are mid centric so emphasise vocals and some guitar parts. Down to taste in this area, sounds like you would prefer the 07 mids where Sonny prefers the 06.

I agree with everything on this statement. This signature sound perfect for you if your not a fan of mid-centric were as that is my favourite type of signature.

I just saw this review and think the OP described the vanilla Gr07 almost exactly like how I would describe the GR07 bass edition. The only difference is there is zero sibilance with the bass edition. Now, I think the vanilla and bass edition are more similar than I initially thought. I also agree with the OP about the BA200 and how it compares to the 07.

Great write-up, Swimsonny.

With the bass on the GR07, could you compare it to the Ety HF5? Is it more present?
