Which Class of 32gb microSD card for music player?

Hi

 

I want to buy a 32gb card for my mobile/music player to store 30gb of music.

I have heard that class 4/6 card have higher random read/write speed compared to class 10 card. So my question is how much is the difference and which class card should I go for? Class 4 or 6 (or 10), if my need is just to listen to movies, listen to music ?

As far as playback, class 4 is good enough. Going to a higher class than 4 is only beneficial if you're swapping the content a lot, and loading it with a dedicated card reader as opposed to the card still being in the device.

class 4 is faster for smaller files than class 10. for larger file class 10 is superior.

I've always thought the class only affects transfer speed.
