I'm thinking about setting up a sound system. I will send audio from my iPhone to some speakers via an Airport Express. If I buy some speakers like these: http://www.klipsch.com/rb-41-ii-bookshelf-speakers-pair would I need an amp? If so what kind?

Yes, you do need an amp for them, the website Parts-Express sells amplifier.

I say go on to Craigslist and find the best used receiver you can find for your budget.

And your budget is?

Might able to find a old but decent receiver for $50
