Rock it sounds make R-50s.

I have a HD650 cable for mine and how big and upgrade it is I don't know as its all I have ever had but for £20 it ain't bad. Then I have one HD600 grille for them but awaiting a second so can't comment on that. They are £12 each. If you wanted spend more the. I'd reccomend a silver cable. Another way would be to improve you Amps as I was just using my Objective 2 and iMac and by adding a Audioengine D1 DAC it's a world of difference.

As for TF10s my reviews here:

Why yes I do...

Hey peoples....thread revival. Hopefully this gets seen. So to those who have listened to the Hf5's and the R-50's, how do those two sound compared to each other? in terms of detail retrieval, sound sig, soundstage,...well technically, the whole 9 yards.

Old thread but I found it interesting that all of the talk in this thread was about the R-50's meanwhile the EPH-100's won the poll (which I would agree with).

I think even to this day that the Yamaha's beat everything else around $100 (and probably still hold their own at twice the price).
