Does anyone make a decent pair of street-style cans?

I like the idea, in principle, of these street-style headphones, but I can't seem to find a lot of positive things on the Web about sound quality. Do any of them sound decent, or are they more for looks than anything else? What about Koss's new KSC-55's?

Superbaldguy, I've got the KSC-55s and while they sound very good (probably better than any of the S-S phones) they are way too small ! I can only wear mine for 3 or 4 minutes. Others here have mentioned having the same problem.

Do any of these type of phones have a way to adjust the headband? I guess you have to take a bit of a gamble with these. It's like earbuds - some fit just right, while others you feel like tossing after just a few minutes of use!

Yes, just get the KSC-35s instead because they clip onto your ears, sound a bit better, and other then the clip-on are the exact same.

If you have your brain set on street styles for whatever reason, AFAIK you are stuck getting the KSC-55s or the Koss Sporta Pros, which I think go behind you head.

If you do the Croakies mod to the KSC35s, you can achieve the Streetstyle effect with them as well.

Anyone who wants "streetstyle" headphones owes it to themself to try the KSC-35

What about the SportaPros?

I see that they have a bit more efficiency than the KSC-35's, PortaPros, etc. I read that all of these Koss cans use the same driver. I, also, know the KSC-35's are no longer made, but I see plenty of them still for sale on the Web. Are the KSC-50's a worthy upgrade?

Hey guys, are the Sporta Pros any larger than the 55s?
