PIMETA power: regulated or switched

Does it make much difference if I use a linear regulated or switched power supply for my PIMETA? MisterX said I could use either, but didn't say which was best.

I can get a switched power supply quite easily, but getting a regulated one with the right plug would be harder, and I don't have a soldering iron to put the right plug on myself

Linear regulated for a quieter headphone experience. Less hiss, pops, clicks, noise, and safer for your pimeta's opamp since switched power supplies can fluctuate in voltage by a large margin.
