Looking for some good < $150 closed cans with good isolation and strong bass

I've got a pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pros that I really like, but they're starting to fall apart and I need a second pair of cans anyway to use at home. Looking at some graphs, it looks like although the Sennheisers aren't super popular anymore, they seem to still offer some of the best affordable isolation and strongest bass at my price point (unless I'm not reading these graphs correctly)

Frequency Response of cans I was considering: http://graphs.headphone.com/graphCompare.php?graphType=0&graphID[]=533&graphID[]=2941&graphID[]=2811&graphID[]=2361

Isolation of cans I was considering: http://graphs.headphone.com/graphCompare.php?graphType=6&graphID[]=533&graphID[]=2941&graphID[]=2811&graphID[]=2361

Part of me doesn't want to buy a second pair of 280's, mostly because that's just boring! So what should I do? I want something with good isolation (doesn't have to beat the 280, but should be able to drown out normal office noises) with a fairly accurate curve (though I do find myself listening primarily to genres where a good punching bass is desirable). I'd like to stay under 150, but the more affordable the better.

Thanks so much in advance for your advice!

Fischer FA-003/Brainwavz HM5/JayCar Pro Monitors (same headphone, different brands, JayCar is the cheapest) would be your best bet. Very neutral, good isolation, everything you're looking for. Just really big, so you might look a little goofy wearing them in public if that's something you're worried about.

Thanks, I'll look into them. From what I've read people are saying they're nice and heavy, good isolation, and quite flat. They're definitely on my consideration list, but what if I'm more of what I guess is referred to pejoratively as a "basshead?" A couple reviews I saw said stuff like, "I could definitely hear the lows, but I didn't really feel them." And I think that's a turn off for me.

In that case I'd suggest Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80ohms or Ultrasone HFI-780s. The DT770s are the more neutral can I think (haven't heard the HFI-780s).

I also think You should check out DT 770 Pro 80 ohms, very nice pair of headphones. Not my taste tho bcoz they hit kinda too hard and im not THAT kind of basshead.
