-wire to be not too long since I'm using these for traveling

-overhead and no in-ears or clip-ons since I have them

-possible to put around neck so it won't choke me

and that's basically it

oh and if possible

-uncommon like beats by dre

-unique design or style

You can get Denon AH-D1100's for $200 new or $99 used. The Denon's are my favorite for on-the-go usage. They are very portable and comfortable. ( I have worn them for 2+ hours straight ) The entire thing is mainly plastic and aluminum and are very light weight and easy to drive with an iPod. (32ohms). If you listen to alot of rap/electronic they go excellent with the massive and loud bass signature. (AH-D100'S are full size, but actually small and light) The Sennheiser HD-25 ii is also a good choice for about $150-200. If your looking for something more stylish get the HD 25 ii blue adidas edition. AKG Q460 and HD 229 are also quite unique and pretty. They fit your "unique design or style", but don't sound too well $80. This is a good thread for help. http://www.head-fi.org/t/433318/shootout-102-portable-headphones-reviewed-panasonic-rp-htf600-added-04-29-12
