Shoe Fi- The New Thread- Converse or Dr Martens Boots?

Thread Starter

Right, so my girlfriend has been on at me because apparently my shoes are tatty and reflect badly on her or something. So did a bit of shopping last night and having a dilemma zone between Dr Martens Boots and Converse? I had a look at google and it came up with

http://www.cloggs.co.uk/ because I  hate shopping and this site has free delivery and returns, so it seems a good plan.

Dr Martens Boots Pros

They are better made than Converse, so likely to last longer, hopefully won't have to have the dreaded shoe conversation again for a little while. The Converses are more likely to get dirty

They do make me look a bit harder and like every bloke, anything that adds to my masculinity is greatly appreciated.

Converse Trainers Pros

They are much cheaper £68.99 compared to £41.99 although the docs have a pretty good discount.

Converse and my general jeans look look pretty good together, probably better suited to the fact that I'm in my 20s.

What do you reckon? Any advice greatly received to save me from the wrath of my girlfriend.
