Ill make this short, I've spent upwards of 15 hours pouring over reviews, specs, and forums trying to decide on which headphones are best for me. I can't seem to find any consistency between the opinions, hype, and reviews, which is beginning to drive me insane. I'm ready to order them and start enjoying. I've never had more than a $40 dollar pair of headphones, so obviously I have zero experience with higher quality audio. Any help would be appreciated.
Some preferences/Facts
Music tastes: Mainly rock and hip hop. Dubstep as well. My favorite band of all time is Linkin Park if that gives a more tangible sense of my interests. I love hearing great bass, when it's supposed to be there.
Price Range: It has to be under $175. I attend college full time and work an hourly job. Needless to say I want the most bang for my buck without exceeding my pre-set budget.

As a side note, one of my favorite things to do is watch Netflix movies on any of my portable devices. I would love, as an added bonus, for the headphones to have at least a decent soundstage, if not better.
I appreciate any help thrown my way. If anyone could throw in some kind of rating/order the headphones by bass and soundstage, I would be Very grateful.
