I'm looking for for some basshead worthy bass heavy earbuds for hip hop ,rap, and dubstep. So what's better than asking the experts. I was looking at the v moda remix for 30$ on amazon

Futuresonic atrios would fit the bill. The bass is about as strong and clean as it gets in the 100 and below bracket pretty sure you can search the forums and find the long standing coupon for 50% off which makes them 99$. Another good bass phone around that price would be the shure se215 usually 99 on amazon.com

If I were to compare the bass between the Atrio MG7 and Shure SE215 in non audiophile terms.... O_o

The Atrio's are like a pair of 18" subwoofers. They get low and nasty. Reminds me of my car audio days...
The Shures are like having four 8" subs. Really thumpy. The low end bass is there but it doesn't seem to be their strong suit.

Both still sound great IMO.. smily_headphones1.gif

Yep, the JVC's have a boat load of punch on the cheap. :)
