I haven't heard both the Valhalla and A1 side by side, so its hard to really say. Both were pretty good second choices to the WA2.

Ok, thanks for all the suggestions! Now about the DAC.....Which would have the most synergy with T1 and Woo Audio WA2?

I would look for neutral in terms of a DAC. For $500, I'd go Schiit Bifrost. For $1k, I'd go for the W4S DAC-1.

Sounds good. Thanks man you really helped me. Now what benefit does XLR have over RCA. What about upgraded cables? Sorry about all the questions, but your like a sensai and I'm like a padawon.

What's your opinion on the matter (XLR)? Do you believe in upgraded cables and balancing audio? I am sort of confused on why I would need to "balance" the audio.

What about the benchmark DAC-1? I can't find the W4S on amazon, but I am open to suggestions. I will be using it with the A1 and T1 headphones.

So what's wrong with what you have?

I'd put a tube somewhere in the signal chain but that Benchmark is a very well accepted DAC.
Since you have an accurate DAC, look at a tube amp. One with a quality power supply and
nice tube rolling options.

Personally, I want the tube in the DAC output circuit and use a SS amp for it's efficiency but
there are many ways to get your sound. But you have to define it before someone can suggest
gear.

I personally take the opposite approach -- I generally like the tubes as far down the signal chain as possible -- but I wholeheartedly agree that the T1 benefits greatly from a tube stage somewhere.

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I will probably sell the Beyerdynamic A1 amp or the benchmark DAC-1 down the road to get the recommended equipment (WA2 + W4S DAC-1). If anybody has any suggestions, please put them know, if not let the mods lock the thread!

They don't sell it on Amazon, because of that I will need to wait until I have cash. I have loads of cashback that I've been wanting to spend on amazon, after all that is free stuff!

Hate to bring this up here but I am pulling my WA3 off Amazon. You said if I listed it you would buy it immediately and I did list it up. via GMail's chat function you said you would buy it after we were done chatting, and now you are looking for a WA2? Are you ignoring my messages and e-mails and are going for the WA2 without even saying anything to me? This is a pain as I went out of my way, made a seller account just for you, and now you backed out? I feel played.. I only agreed to list it via Amazon because you said you would order it right away, and that was at 7:35PM yesterday.

A word of caution guys. I may be jumping the gun but I feel like I was going to be either scammed, or vampire5003 backed out because he changed his mind. I am mad because I had other potential buyers lined up but told them you were going to buy the amp so they are no longer interested.

I pulled the Amazon listing and will not relist it. I am selling the amp to someone else.
