There are a million things that I find more beauty in than powder coated black boxes with shiny glass fronts amd little lights. Heck, I'd rather have 5.5 grand worth of music and stack my equipment up on an Ikea shelf!

What you find appealing is fine, what others find appealing is fine. Stop worrying about their preferences or if your tastes don't match.
