For Sale: Benchmark DAC1 PRE . final price drop.

Nothing much to explain here. This is a well known DAC+Amp

Condition: Excellent condition, with no problems at all. Only issue I can see is that the lettering on top of the "Source" knob (center knob) is fading off (see picture). This does not affect the sound quality but I just wanted to put that detail, since I am usually very picky when it comes to condition.

If you compare all the DAC1 versions then you will notice the best one to get is DAC1 PRE. The DAC1 HDR is the flagship model, but the only difference between HDR and PRE is the remote control and the price difference is $300 extra for HDR, and it is not worth spending $300 extra for a remote control.
