Who Coined Our Slogan?

I cannot lay claim to having been on Head-Fi for more than a year or two, and I know that "Sorry about your wallet" has been around long before my time. Does anyone know who first coined it in the context of personal audio?

Hmm ... I'm quite sure there's good intention behind that suggestion.

Soon you'll understand what 'sorry for your wallet' really means ... =)

EDIT: its from 2005

Tyll maybe? I know he's been saying it a while. It's been around since before I joined, that's for sure.

Not me.  It's been around quite a while. Searching the HeadWize archive turns up mentions in 2002.

In this thread, Dusty Chalk says it was him.  No reason to doubt it.

Here's the earliest post I could find, Dec 2001 and it was already "official" by then.

Damn. I guess we'll have to take Dusty Chalk at his word, especially seeing as it's a PM-related story.

I think he was just the first to phrase it that way. So for all intensive purposes, the creator, until otherwise proven different
