Three of them sounds much better on a powerful sources or CD players.
IE60 = 3D, bass, big sound, big soundstage, melodic but natural, very light and comfortable.
315 = much more details, great fit and isolation, melodic, not perfect bass, no good treble, very nice mids, average soundstage, as a bonus you can try tu pyt silver cable and find some miracle.

Pro Gold = melodic, not a perfect fit but good isolation, good soundstage, great for hard styles, good bass, not good quality of drivers lot of returns for repairing.

I'll probably use them on my iphone and I dont want an amp, what else can I do to improve the sound? I heard you mentioning a cable..If so, which cable should I buy?

SIlver:)

Also you can take a look on another phones, which sounds great from iPhone and do not need amp.
AT CKS77, Shure 215, Vsonic R07, for example.

I would not worry about what cable if it is "only" for iPhone... Especially if your ear pieces cost less as 500 USD... ie60 I personally like for the money and I would not be heartbroken if I lost it because after all you would not want to take your super expensive iem with awesome custom
cable out the streets would you?

I do sometimes depending on my mood. But you are right I'll generally do my listening with them at home.

They don't have much highs. But they are good.

Since IE60 has a huge sound stage the highs to me sound great. Considering the IE60 are dynamic driver headphones, the treble is certainly not sibilant, rolled off or smoothed out... I'd say articulate, a bit gentle because the IE60 are a bit bassy, and in general quite detailed.

You might need to equalize them though because they peak +9 dB in around 5.5 Hz and 8.3 Hz for me

thanks for the advice guys..... Im going to the store today, but I have one last question. Is this earphone worth the money? Im  willing to spend a lot of time burning it in and playing music on it at max volume all day. If not, which one do you recommend?

What is your spending limit? Will you be able to demo them at the store?

No need for max volume. I would not recommend the IE8s for the price of these and i will guess these are not as good as the IE8s. I think its likely you can do a hell of a lot better. If you can demo and enjoy them then why not though.

Agreed if you can get a pair of IE8s for the same price you are better off with those. But if you can get a good deal on the IE80s I recommend you get them over the IE8. You can haggle the dealers for a reasonable price. If you need the contact info to the deal I can provide it via PM.

Definitely don't do max volume... they are still speakers and as such you will hurt / kill them if you use max volume at long times for a burn in. I used http://www.jlabaudio.com/burn.php for my burn in at around 65% volume on windows for a few nights and it did improve the sound.
