Because of a private inquiry, I *finally* got around to taking some decent pics of the Fixup cable I currently use for my ER4's which I'm still extremely happy with. Fixup's webpage is a little lacking in selling his own products as he has some outdated pics that confuse people. Here are some pics of the miniplug and connectors. Note how it is color coded only from the top and the tiny size of these things.

Hmmm oh yah, just reread some of this thread and realized I actually never publically commented much on the last iteration I recieved. The other *last iteration* up above was actually second to last heh...

Well, I've decided to join in the ER4 madness and am also trying to work out my options with MR Fixup.

My solution: get the replacement cord to match the 4P and then use an adapter mod to up the resistance anyway I chose. I ordered the 4s adapter but I may also want to get an in-between adapter.

If you start with a replacement cable that has a resistance greater than a stock 4P you can only increase the resistance (and lower the efficiency) and will never have a 4P unless you again change cables (which is not a good idea at all)

Solved?

Yeah right.
