Roger Waters performs "The Wall"

The tour stopped here in Chicago last Friday and I, being a huge Floyd fan, attended.

 

By far, nothing else is even close, this was the best concert I have EVER been to.  Just incredible.  Outstanding sound and jaw dropping visuals.  The wall stretched from foul pole to foul pole so figure 300 feet long.  Watch full screen and raise the quality to get the idea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are still several dates left; get tickets and go if you can!

I saw it last year. Absolutely awesome! Best show I've been to so far..

Going next Saturday with my wife. I got 5th row tickets from my brother for my 40th birthday. I'm super excited!!!

 

The last Floyd concert I saw was the Division Bell tour in the '90s (sans Roger Waters).

I saw it last year at the O2 Arena in London. It was amazing. 

Same line up for the North American tour? Dave Kilminster and Snowy White were in the group when I went.

Was that the one were David Gilmour and Nick Mason came out at the end of the show?

Did they?? Unfortunately there was no special guest in the one I went to. It was still amazing though.

It is always good to have a nice surprise like that. I remember years ago when I went to see Jeff Beck in Hammersmith Odeon, Jimmy Page came out towards the end. That was special.

For one of the O2 concerts they did last year. It's on the Pink Floyd website (and I think Youtube).

 

BTW, I'm a HUGE Zeppelin fan. Great seeing the two masters: Beck and Page together. I would have given almost anything to see the Zeppelin reunion concert a few years back.
