Physical Earphone/Headphone Store?

Are there any PHYSICAL stores that concentrate on selling Earphones/Headphones and lets you test them out?

 

If you know, are there any near Oakland, California?

The only place like that I was ever aware of was Ken Ball's (ALO Audio) 32 Ohm Audio store. It was a beautiful store in a beautiful location up in Portland, Oregon. Sadly, they weren't able to do enough business there to keep it open.

An absolutely beautiful little shop.

 

The only place I think you'll find anything else like that is over in Asia.

Or a little bit closer in Vancouver, Canada.

 

The Headphone Bar. Have not been there but I hear good things about it. They are organizing the next Vancouver meet.

Any idea how long they've been operating there? Can't find anything about that on their website.

You are always welcome to come by our shop and have alisten. I have a large number of headphones and amps here as well as some mighty good sources. That is an open invitation to anyone passing through Montana - come and hear what we have at TTVJ. You won't be disappointed!

I've always wanted a better place for this, apparently ALO is setting up a listening room in portland.
