you can buy the gold or green color cable and use it with the studio, its detachable. But I want a special edition of the studios to come out soon, It would look nice not being all black.

Just droppin by to say I have these in my possession. I like the foam pads much better. It was able to block out people talking to me, but not sure about louder sounds than that. I heard the DJ version recently, and I think the Studio sounds is more my style since I listen to mostly metal and electronic music.

Those foam pads were mighty comfy; I have to give AIAIAI credit for that. I wonder if we can convince them to make some PU foam pads for the regular TMAs.

I've put over 20hrs into these so far. I like these better than my PRO700MK2 in audio and comfort. That's the only bassy headphones I have to compare them to.
The MK2 has trouble with vocals also, but I think the TMA-1 Studios is doing a hell of a job being versatile with not only electronic music, but metal and rock also. Sure the vocals could be lifted a bit. A few more days and maybe they'll clear up?
Wish I had an amp on hand because these could be a notch louder. Currently stuck in New Orleans because of Hurricane Isaac...

I'm with you.  These are very unique and special headphones.

Is the Fool's Gold worth the extra $$$ over the regular or step up to the Studio? I don't see the yellow cable available as an accessories to buy. It looks to be the Fool's Gold only.

I should have my hands on a pair of Studio with Mic soon. Thank you AiAiAi. I will compare it to the M-Audio Q40 and one other in my collection. Stay tuned.
