ha ha ha. Sorry man.  They are great interconnects but not high end at all.  Check audioquests price guide to see some truly high end interconnects. 

Depending on your setup though I think the King Cobra's are perfect. I myself wouldn't spend more than 10% of my amps value on interconnects. Just my rule of thumb though.

I've heard the LCD-3 is a big improvement over the LCD-2. Have you given it a listen? I'm also interested in the Fischer FA-011. I've read some good reviews and it has a great retro look to it. I can't seem to find it online right now. Sock is sold out except on E-Bay.

I guess for me it's high end. Rawdawg, what power cable do you use with your WA6se?

I've also never heard of power conditioners doing anything but helping a system. I'm currently using the monster power hts 1600.

Driving LCD2, W3000ANV & HD800 (previously owned) with good results. Very versatile amp.

*I use the LCD2 on the high impedance output, sounds much better...

No, unfortunately I have not been able to demo the LCD3s. I've heard that that LCD-3 is not that big of an improvement and I have heard the contrary – not sure what to believe anymore, but they need to be owned at one point or another regardless. :D

I have LCD-2 r.1 and WA6-SE too, I only own Shuguang 274B and various driver tubes now, and bass wise the GE 6DE7 dominates the 6EW7s badly. Those are pretty cheap too, so I'd get a pair to try it out. :)

Sorry for not getting back to you right away. I'm using an Oppo 95 as my source connected directly to my headphone Amp. Right now my amp is a Beyer A1. Jack just shipped the WA6se yesterday via UPS. I should have it by Wednesday.

Sorry if I'm wrong here, but I didn't want to make a new thread just for this question.

I really like a deep warm sound. With nice bass.

I'm thinking of getting the HD800 and would like to buy a great amp. Which one would be better for my preferences?

The WA6 oder the WA6SE?

Sorry guys if I sound stupid but I'm new to this whole HiFi world :)

both would do fine with the HD 800, the WA6SE would drive them a bit better since a few ppl have said the WA6 seems to be a bit lacking at times.

have you considered the WA2 btw? its warmer sounding and works great with the HD 800s.
