Ha ha, yes, I probably will after meeting up with cotnijoe... I think it would be cool for you guys to get to hear it in comparison. Also I have a nice reasonable priced SPC cable coming, and I'm curious to see if that helps at all. But more than likely it's gonna go on the chopping block, thanks to the LAB... You guys were all right on the money with this IEM.

Does anyone know what FAD's warranty situation is with the LAB? I'm worried about something failing, and their need to replace or repair it, being such a limited run IEM. One would think they stand behind a product at such a price level, being a flagship.

Normally I would say 'x2'. But having spent much intimate time with the LAB I, It just might be endgame.

At least until another visionary can top it. Years I predict before that happens, though.

I believe the warranty period on the LAB is 2 years from date of purchase with proof of purchase. For less expensive (less than 10,000 yen) products, it is 1 year.

He probably means that since it's so limited, will they be able to replace it in case sth happens. That's what I guessed.

Yeah, that's what I meant... If an owner actually needs a replacement, does FAD have some extra units to do so with... Or would they produce a new one for replacement. Maybe I'll email FAD to see how they'd handle that because I really want to know we're covered should something happen to such a beautiful sounding and rare IEM.

So cn11, so you feel that the Lab I beats the Hope VI? And if so, is it justified in the price?

I now live in a world without Kanemori Takai and Robin Williams. Someone needs to wake me from this unending nightmare.

That aside

This combo is pretty damn nice.

I'm listening to his Weapons of Self Destruction show while baking some chicken. His mind operates at about a hundred miles a minute, just hilarious:

The M is sounding excellent with the LAB. My favorite portable pairing for it to date. Very full, detailed, and powerful sound, amplifying all of the LABs traits and taking it to the next level. I haven't heard the LAB with the Hugo since I sold mine awhile back, but this is a stellar pairing IMO. Check out Chane Music. They offer a 30 day trial period for the M. I got mine in record speed. You should order while they've still got em in stock. You've got nothing to lose except in the event you find the M worth keeping around ;)

Just today, SQ is excellent. UI isn't bad at all so far. I'm just a bit concerned with the battery drain. I listened for an hour and am now charging. I'll see how long it runs. Good thing is that FW updates should be on the way.

I continue to be unabashedly obsessed with the LAB I.

It still continues to satisfy, and give joy. No sense of "getting used to it."

And yes I like them more than HVI. The value is subjective. The HVI is a damn fine earphone.
