Oh and the overly focused sound of the narrow bore tips with an amp makes the bass too strong for me. I hope you're enjoying those Momentums

I guess I should be replacing the Momentums on my sig

I find the depth to be equal on both but the narrow bore to have a not as wide soundstage and more forward mids. The depth on these things are excellent but layering and instrument separation would be better for me on the wide bore as it is less likely to encounter congestion with the more spread out soundstage

To enjoy the depth potential of the Heaven VI, add a good crossfeed into the mix. The Meier Simple setting with Rockbox is excellent. In Foobar, I have just started using the 112db Redline Monitor VST  plugin. So far I am quite impressed. (Will it be worth $69 after the 60 day trial expires? Not sure yet...)

Takai-san passed away?! Is this actually true? I'm at a complete loss for words. May his soul rest in peace :(

Had the opportunity to meet him when he was in Singapore during the 1st Mook Festival. Though he spoke little English, he welcomed those who visited the FAD booth warmly and was very passionate about his IEMs and headphones. Ask him through his interpreter about his products and he will entertain you so long as it did not require him to reveal his secrets in his design. It was here that I auditioned the prototype of his Pandora Hope VI and ended up getting it when it was launched last year. He is a visionary in this field and will be missed. And thank you Takai San for sharing your world with us in your IEMs and headphones.

I've always had a soft spot for crazy nonconformist minds. They're like rare gemstones on a pebble beach. And every time one of them gets washed away, our world becomes less colorful.

May his soul rest in peace, but may his sparkle and spirit live on to help shape Final Audio's future.

I couldn't have expressed this feeling as well if I tried, may he rest in piece.
