I don't get my pal eke lately, but I'm totally enamored by the sound of the Heaven V!! It's full, lush, natural and rich sounding to my ears. And horns on jazz albums just take transport me to another realm. And I find it very detailed. On top of all all of that, I don't think I've ever heard a single BA with this much bass! And I once thought the Ortofon e-q7 had bass. Ha!

How does the V compare to the E-Q7?

It's been a very long time since I've owned the e-q7. I just don't remember it being as full sounding as the V, or having as much bass.

Other than the rubber-tipless PF series are the rubber tips interchangeable between the Adagio and Heaven series?

I have HVI and had some time ago e-Q7. Direct comparison - e-Q7 sounds a bit uninvolving, less texture, soundstage, bass. Kinda dull and lean to some degree. Amazing that I thought there are quite good till I got HVI :)

In Philips Golden Ear test, stereo width refers to ... well designed audio system sounds expansive...

BUT... PANDORA FREAKING HOPE 6 sounds expansive on everything! How to tell non-expansive ones from expansive?

Really interested in the Heaven VI, but they are quite expensive. So was thinking of maybe picking up the V or maybe IM02. Wonder if the V is similar to the VI though.

Yeah, i also once thought that the E-Q7 was a really good earphone as well until i got myself a CK100, which showed all the flaws they had.
