Well, it's shiny like the PFs, and designed for lots of clarity. Many people know I love it a little irrationally. However, I think the new packaging used by FAD in Europe is nicer, as they give it a display look. The old case is useful but not "pretty". The FI-BA-SS is at its core a collector's item, IMO.

I feel like my PFs are starting to lose thier magic, mainly because I've been listening to them extensively for the past 2 weeks. I've probably just gotten so used to them that it's not special now.

I guess it's time to lay them off for a while.

This is believable. I lost interest in my PF IX for quite a long period of time. This was around the time that I got the 1601SC. I even thought of selling them - although I wasn't thinking that too seriously because I love the Piano Fortes for watching movies, Breaking Bad etc. - they have a big sound for something so comfortable. Then they came roaring back into my life for music. They get a fair bit of play these days.

I, too, have a sinusoidal relationship with mine. Beginning to think it's 'normal'.

I just got my Heaven VI CC, purchased the wrong colour as I did not read carefully. Wanted the gold instead.

The casing/packaging is really beautiful.

Is there any differences between the VI CG and the VI CC?

I auditioned the VI CG and the bass has more impact and sweeter mids.

Is it because of the burn in?

Thanks

Nah you got the right color.  :-)

There is no difference between them; it is just a cosmetic coating on the CG.

Are you amping them the same way? More than any other IEM I own, the difference with my Heaven VI between my Classic headphone out and the Classic line out through the Pico Slim is substantial, not subtle. The Heaven VI ramps up with power.

Mr. Sparrow, I checked out your link

http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Forbidden+Colours/55g5xs?src=5

and it really does sound amazing with the PFIXs. They really are strongest with live music. My first really sublime experience. But man is it hard to find the perfect song.

That Grooveshark link for some reason only plays half the track's length. Here's the full version of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfZCISO1DuY

If you keep switching phones, it makes it harder to find "the perfect song". If you spend a couple of days only (or mostly) with the PFs, your ears will adapt to the their sonics more easily and you'll begin to discover more music that sounds very good with them; then you may get the odd surprise here and there of some music you thought would not suit the PFs now sounding quite appealing (or even amazing).

So I was searching for any new info on the Pandora series and came across this: https://www.finalaudio.nl/producten/pandora-hope-series.html

It's interesting that the English version of the site lists a Pandora VIII, which I haven't heard of before. The Dutch version of the site lists a Pandora VI Special Edition, which I'm guessing might be the slightly modified European version. Pricing shown here:

No release date or preorder but says delivery time is 2-4 working days. I wonder how legit this is since neither the Japanese nor English official sites have any info.
