Yea I'm glad to see the new Logo is simplified. I'm still of fan of having that Dog some where on the Head Band :D

It's TOTALLY unique and really fits the can but it's to much to be on the sides of the drivers

Sure, but when not in use mine would sit on a stand in my living room, nothing wrong with caring how that looks IMO. I'd leave Dan's standard label on there over plain black tho, their creator deserves to have his branding on them. tongue.gif

yea that's the issue I had with em, for $300 they seem a good deal, till you realize they need like a $500 amp xD, if I had the amp then I'd love the can ofc

Yup.

I have a red+black and a black+gray V-Moda cable.

You can select any color they have in-stock.

Well, I don't know what you are talking about as I use my Mad Dogs mainly with my Schiit Magni which is like $100 bucks...

Using the Mad Dogs today and I just love the comfort level way too much. Love the Signature Pro sound but I can just use the Mad Dogs 24/7 without any discomfort!! Sounds good to boot.

Thanks again Dan.

Not to rail on this, but gelocks is right.  While the Magni isn't perfect, it definitely gets the job done.  You don't have to be insane like me (plugs $300 headphone into >$3k amp) to get great performance out of the Mad Dogs.  As much as I use my Cavalli amp with them, I also use a Magni and original Asgard on an almost daily basis.

Sadly I broke down today and Purcahsed a Matrix M Stage v2 [with upgraded Power supply] [used with extra op amps] so I went and got a n ice solid state. I may revist these some time in teh future. I think deep down I really wanted a pair of sexy woodies. But I'll definatly be trying these again in the future! Espically now that I got a Solid state to pair em wid!

Speaking of amps, will an E11 be fine for these until I can afford a desktop amp?

"Ath-m50 sounds like $300 headphones"

So I've been lurking around you tube and I found this moron pushing ath m50's in like EVERYTHING he has posted... really... here we have a semi audiophile geeky guy getting RICH on you tube... I guess it's not a terrible thing he is pushing ath m50's into the hands of headphone newbs BUT to call them $300 worthies is really pissing me off [could b from the lack of sleep]

Still though, I really want to hear the M50 q.q, as I would have told him to GO TO HELL they don't sound THAT good, but I've never listened to them q.q [although I'm pretty sure even my late mad dogs sounded WAY better [and by better I mean transparent and detailed] then the over bassy m50 [btw I think even the dt 990 pro 250 is TO bassy for alot of my music]]

ANYWAYS :D ss AND w1000x on the way next week YEA, and mh comes out tuesday OH yea

Dan, add me to the interest list. I would get them in a heartbeat.

Wonderful headphones by the way. Using them in a Foobar2k > ODAC > O2 chain.

This is true lol, I bought the Mad Dogs while doing just that [sorry for the details but I kid you not]

Ehm, still I got the mad dogs before reading any reviews or anything really. A good impulse buy though! These got me into a new style of cans and amps!

OK, will do black stickers as an option.  It'll take a week or so.

Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry man, It's late and I'm cranky. I know that your excited for your new gear, congrats btw. I hope you really enjoy it all. Sounds like you have some great stuff otw. Hopefully you will get another shot with the Mad Dogs.
