This is good if you have a place to clamp it, like the end of the desk or shelf.

I probably should have stated this first, but it would have to be a standing one as my desk is tiny and there really isn't room to place it. More importantly I wouldn't want one of the kiddies to be able to reach my dogs.

Then this:

Made it myself from walnut. biggrin.gif  It has a small screw that goes through the desk into the bottom of the stand, very secure. And yes it's for sale.

I know this is a knock-off, but just for demonstration purposes wink.gif. Would this do well to avoid flattening of the pads?

Mad Dog with Aplha Pad is ordered, lets see how it endure the harsh winter here in Norway. Anyone know how long the shpping takes to get into europe with the 40$ priority shipping? Was either a Asus Xonar Essence One or the Mad Dog so the one has to wait!

No, they are $500, last time I checked.

Would the Brainwavz Peridot stand ($25-28 on Amazon) be too wide? I've seen pics of it with the HM5, which have pretty large pads, and it looked alright... I'm using one right now but I don't have a pair of MDs (yet!), I can measure it for ya if you want tho.

My only other stand is a towel rack from Crate & Barrel (just a circular base with standing L rod), it was like $30 but it's brushed stainless steel and fits any headphone. Edit: Huh, must be on clearance, it's now $10... Judging by the reviews it works better for headphones than towels. tongue.gif

Making your own's definitely cheaper... There's a $13 garage hose hanging rack/hook on Amazon that has a number of reviews from people using it as a stand, headphones free hang on it so it'd be fine with any pads...

There'd also the musical note shaped Cosmos ones on Amazon.

Edit: Added appropriate links.

That said, I also provide the thinner, lighter and shorter V-Moda cable for users with portable players, or wanting a shorter cable on their desktop (you need to provide your own 1/8" to 1/4" adaptor if your gear has 1/4" (6.3) jacks).

Should a warranty issue arise worldwide, I pay the shipping to correct the problem.

Dan,

Thank you....such attential to detail and dialogue goes along way to us consumers....all the way to the UK anyway! Expect another order soon....

Phil

ps I don't suppose you or anyone else on the thread could confirm if my Colorfly C4 should be able to deliver enough oomph for the Mad Dogs, if I use the 13V 6.3 jack socket? I'm only interested in a one box set up!

Hey, Mr.Speakers, I'm in SF and your in SD(I think). I bought them using Priority Mail, how long do you think it will take to get to me? If you respond, thanks so much! And you shipped them today, I think..

Hi, yes, we shipped a large number this week so as of today we're out of backlog.   SF takes about 2 days, usually.

With the C4 being such a rarity (I'm jealous of you, in fact, for owning it), you'd probably have a better time finding an answer to that by specifically cross-checking the MD owner list with the C4 owner list and sending a PM.
