Indeed. I love it yet hate it at the same time, because I'm pretty sure the only thing I'd want to buy is the LCD2, and that's years  down the road.

Anyone have any tips for jaw clamp? I thought that the issue would've resolved with more wear, but wearing the Mad Dog (both the alphas and dog pads have done this) fatigues and clamps on my jaw joint (the bottom part of the pad) to the point of discomfort after an extended period. Should I just stretch out the headband more? I'm not sure how much I'm able to stretch it, or if that even works since the issue is the point of pressure. Any ideas?

You need to move onto IEM's then.tongue.gif  Stretching the headband can help,

but it's only going to do so much.

For real. As soft and as large as the Alpha Pads are, if they're causing discomfort because they still can't manage to alleviate that pressure, I'm not sure there are many full-size headphones or any other pads that'll do the trick. A pair of IEMs might just be what paradoxper needs.

Well I already have dog pads. Would it be worth getting the alpha pads? Also there are leather then lamb leather. What would be the differences comfort wise between the two leathers?

cheers

Most feel the improved comfort alone is worth the upgrade. As for the lamb leather v leather or w.e. the Dog Pad really was. I don't feel there's too much of a difference to the general feel of them. the Alpha pads are larger and feel softer. Personally, with the larger pads the entire fit of the MD has improved. And we haven't even touched on the supposed improved sonics of the AP's. So one's opinion says yes, it's fully worth the upgrade. Wait for those masses to chime in. :)

Lamb leather can often be more soft/supple than normal leather.

Well, I took the plunge...............now the wait begins.  Hate that 'pre Xmas anticipation' when you know you're getting something really good!

Yep.  Both the DP and AP are lamb leather though (IIRC).  The APs are just a slightly softer/higher grade.

We never decided! Should poll for the top 3 choices and then make Dan choose.
