If they could drive them to their full potential this would be hugepost #2569 of 61571/5/13 at 7:57pmLOL!!
Yup, but glad you got in touch with Dan and are going through the motions. And agree, dealing with Dan has been a great experience so far and I doubt it will change.
BTW, it seems that I got a Twitter mention by @aamefford when he used @gelocks previously!!
How was that possible!?!? LOL!
post #2570 of 61571/5/13 at 7:59pmThe Magni drives the Mad Dogs really well with plenty of power, punch and clarity. I've been using the Magni for these past few weeks (I got mine on December 20 or something like that.) My Leckerton is now sad that I haven't used him much! ;-)

I've been playing my new MDs out of a DragonFly DacAmp through an Asgard or Lyr amp. They sound fantastic. Tonight, for the first time, I listened to them out of my Sansa Fuze through a CmoyBB (sounded pretty good!) and, surprisingly very good through a JDS O2. I wasn't expecting it to sound that good. Have others had similar experiences?
I also stuck them on my wife and cranked it up to see what it sounds like from the outside, and I couldn't hear a thing. These will be fine for the office.

Can you compare the MD through schiits to other headphones?post #2576 of 61571/5/13 at 11:08pmQuote:11-12 o'clock is ear splitting loud to me. I highly doubt you'll max the Magni. Then again, I listen to low volume from what I've gathered. The E09K I had I listened at 10-11 o'clock. The M/M I listen at 9 o'clock or it is just too loud for long listening periods.

how is this headphone for movies, shows etc?post #2579 of 61571/6/13 at 8:58amQuote:Quote:Yup.
At 1 o'clock (via Cowon player @ almost max volume) it was quite loud! Pretty sure if I max out the Cowon, 1 o'clock would give me a headache. I don't usually listen to music at extreme levels. I'm pretty sure that at 3 o'clock it would be bad to my ears... So yup, headroom there is. ;-)
post #2580 of 61571/6/13 at 5:20pmAny general comparisons between Mad Dogs and V-Moda M-100 or Sony MDR-1R?
