NEW! Sony MDR-MA900 headphones. My Impressions video

I was able to spend some time with this headphones so I thought I give you my thoughts on it in a video.  It's an amazing open design headphones.  It's like having an open MDR-Xb1000 but with better highs and mids.  I wish I have more time with this review unit so I can compare it to other Open Design headphones.  I am going to buy a pair with my own money so stay tuned for other comparisons.  Thanks for watching.

I like this more than the HD650.  To me, the HD650 isn't very special.  It's good, but nothing special.  The MA900 kicks ass in the bass region with A LOT of dynamics.

And (for me) the Grado RS2i

Or Sony on Sony with the Sony MDR-V900HD.

It's definetly better than the V900HD. The MA900 is far more balance and doesn't have the upper midrange spike that the V900HD has.

So this is basically a potential giant-killer as long as you listen at home? You're not kidding, right? This is really Sony's best current-production headphone?

I'll be floored if it beats out every other headphone in the $200-300 range. MUST GET~

You can get it for £220 from play.com.

Those arms look fairly flimsy thin. Is that just me or is it because the headphone's ear cups are huge?

Either way it sounds like a very intriguing headphone, but I wish some actual stores would stock these in the UK so I could at least hear them, I was originally considering buying some Denon D2000's (before there's none left) or maybe some Aiaiai TMA-1 Studios, but these sound like they might be a better choice.

Yes--build quality is a concern that immediately came to mind.  It appears to be significantly inferior not only to the V900HD but also to the all plastic 7510.
