Anyway, this is rarely discussed in terms of my specific terms but currently I am looking at a

Sony MDR 300. You don't need to go blah blah about Sony sucking. That is bias. Anyway I am looking for a approx $30 set that looks as good as these. Sound....should be a factor but they are for a non audiophile.

Sennheiser HD203 is also a competitor.

I guess the HD202 are all that is left :/

I have the JVC HA-RX700's and they were excellent. They look great, are built like a tank, and sound great. Though they might be a bit too big and inflexible for what you need.

You can try these. I think the Stretch White normally sell for $49.99, so this is a limited sale price.

Philips the Stretch White $39.99

Philips the Snug Black $32.99 and Checkered $19.00

Great suggestions but the only problem is that the age demographic they are meant for is much younger than the one I want. This is for my father. He just wanted a very cheap not terrible looking thing he could bring anywhere. Those are more for the teenage age.

I wanted to see many choices like the Phillips you showed me :) I don't spend time in this price zone too often so its good to see what they have to offer at this price. If I had the budget.... a Vmoda would be on its way right now.

I found those too reading the reviews they don't look as good but I may need to settle for them :)

Thanks dude! I don't know where you find these but thanks. I went on a thread hunt :)

I would get the UR 40 or the porta pro's but these are for outside and can't be open. It seems the MEE is the final :)

Hmmm. I don't know....

I need a modern look. It seems I am back to the Sony 300 :/ The drivers protrudiing doesn't really make it appealing to me. Thanks though :)

the MEE's have questionable reviews sometimes and don't look as good as the sonys

Panasonic HTF-600. Just braid the cable and you're all set. Check out the appreciation thread for them.

Koss PortaPro would be my pick, if you can connect with its styling.
