It's technically already released, and you can order it. The wait time is about 4~6 weeks.

I believe friends here can answer the other questions!

I heard the prototype. ~

is the released model the FINAL production (like no version1 or revision 2.. etc)

or is it a prototype that is being researched and changed again?

Do you understand what 4-6 weeks is? Not days but weeks. This assuming that people bought it TODAY (August 15, 2012)...you are looking at someone getting it no earlier than September 12, 2012. Then like most people here do, they need at least 30 hours (seen up to 200 hours) of break-in before an honest assestment can be even given. So grab a coffeem, read about other IEM for the time being, set clock for 4 weeks and return.

do you think this PP6 amp can be used with JH16 (the one that is come with JH3A package)?

If so that might be very interesting for those people who already have JH3A in hope that it will become real active cross over with the PP6 amp.  As I read all the thread the earpiece of PP6 is the same as JH16/JH3A earpiece in point that it can use the adapter to transform to normal 3.5 mini plug to plug in to any source.  Also can you tell use what chip do you use? is it Cirrus Logic also?

umm

the JH16 that come with the JH-3a have the x-over inside the IEM? So unless you are going to rebuild the IEM, no point in having the DSP do the X-over when there is also a passive x-over in the IEM (ie double duties).

If the PP6 specs are right, there are NO x-over in the UM IEM. They are built into the "stereo adapter" to use universally.

Oh I thought the passive cross over of the JH16 is in the adapter. Is it not??? I need to read through the thread again.

So the IEM for the PP6 is called Terminator (pops up under the adchoice banner on the upper right hand side).

with that said..

I wonder what DSP is being used in this...

hunch says that it is the SAME Cirrus Logic CS47048 from Harvey's product. TI doesn't have something like that.

of course it might be a rockchip design also.

Who's going to be the first to crack one open? ;)
