Vsonic GR06 & R04pro?

Edit#2: So according to Mark2410 Vsonics product-line goes as follows from top to bottom; GR07 (flagship), R04Pro "flagship", R04Pro, GR06.

Good evening!

 

I'm back to splurge some money ! Can't really be helped when things you use often tend to break (R.I.P 3rd set of MEElec M9..). And so I want to acquire a Fiio E9 and a set of new IEMs.

After reading on the forums for a few days I'm catching up on bits of information here and there, and it would seem the community is (was?) in great favor of the Vsonics.

 

Among the many things I don't understand in this world; what are Vsonic executives thinking when naming their headphones..?

 

Q#1:

Their "flagship" is the GR07, yes? Then we have the 2nd runner GR06, but where does the R04Pro / GR04pro fit in? 

 

Q#2:

Among the GR07, GR06 and R04pro, which would have the better bass when combined with a low end AMP such as the Fiio E9?

 

If there is anything you'd like to point out about this purchase please leave a comment!

 

 

Edit: The reason I'm asking is that the R04Pro has been referred to as Vsonics (former) flagship, and if they are a better choice than the GR06 I'll get the R04Pro instead.

I am interested in a comparison between the two as well. I've read from some that the R04pro is better than the GR06 and it is costs less as well. Hmmm.

I'd also like to hear from someone with both, searching hasn't helped. I have the GR06 and it is amazing for the price.

it goes 7 then the two 4 ones, one of which was called the 4 pro flagship, although the 7 was their flagship.  then the 6 takes up the rear.  oh and the 99 below that and the 1 sits at the very top now.  clear as mud really.

 

honestly they are all really good for the money go with the highest you can afford

Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but on lendmeurears, the GR04 is now cheaper than the GR06, is the GR04 (doesn't appear to be pro or flagship) now below the GR06?

if i had to take a chance id still say the 2 original 4's should be above the 6, well maybe not so much above but as with a less warm sound, more even.  i think its that the 4 has come down due to naming confusion and the 6 up due to demand.

 

so i say take the 4 unless you want the warmer sounding 6.
