Can Dayton B652 $25 speaker beat speakers costing $10,000

Here, its mentioned that it sounds better than $10000 pair of speakers. Is that true?

DIY with very affordable drivers can challenge very expensive loudspeakers if built correctly.

Here's the full quote:

 

"But you know what? The B652 doesn’t suck. You can find $100 or $200 speakers that aren’t as good. In fact, the B652 is better than some $10,000-per-pair speakers I’ve heard — although those were all really wacky designs built to cater to audiophile fads rather than to the laws of physics."

 

This doesn't mean it sounds better than all or even a lot of $10,000/pair speakers. It means it sounds better than really bad $10,000/pair speakers.
