The Sandisk doesn't have a fixed line out or digital out, it can quite loud if you reset the region, so

why do you want an amp? It can only sound worse.

Check HiFiMAN HM-601 SLIM. Very nice player.

if i had to choose the e17 imo is better than the z02 for amplification, the z02 has more bass presets.

Another vote for the e17. I don't think it can be beat at it's price point. Even the inflated one. Wait till fiio gets out the second wave though and prices go back down.

To elaborate on Matt's post, there is too much demand and not enough supply...for half a year. And thus prices skyrocketed in the U.S and a bit elsewhere. After they get their next batch out, prices should re normalize to $140 in the U.S.
