I'm shocked that you think of me like that Dave...
Why would I give marijuana to a baby?
LOL!! That is one of the funniest pics I have seen online. It just makes me laugh. I had to use it. Sorry for getting off track here fellas. You all can blame me. back on topic.
I am just so excited I have the FXD80 and GR07 MK2 on the way. Two very unique dynamic driver IEM's from a technology POV.
One started with the Sony R10 dev. team and the other with electron microscopes.
I think I'll just go offline for a while now and find check out last.fm for hours and work on my amplifier for a change of pace.
C'ya everyone.
Shouldn't you add EPH100 into the mix ;) ? another micro driver from different company for comparison?

if the JVCs end up sounding 10x better pls don't wow me into a spontaneous buy.. ;;
Bought EQ10 for my iphone and find it much more feature rich than EQU albiet with a simpler less precise equalizer but one good enough for me. I decreased the 8Khz 1.5db and the 16Khz 0.6DB and dropped the bass at 125hz by 1.5db and at 250hz by .7db, then boosted the 500hz range by 1.5db, the 1Khz by 2.1db 2Khz by 1.6db and 4Khz by .9db and this sounds more like my beloved 1440. amazing how 99 cents can give so much pleasure :-).
Of course I will likely have to adjust it when the Comply tips arrive.
I'm not bothered with some hype train derailment cause I'm on a luxury cruise ship to some tropical paradise with these JVC. ![]()
You got a point there, ....right, all those of you who were disappointed with Dsnut's recommendation say 'Aye' !
That's what I thought, ...I hear tinnītus.
Ignorance is bliss sometimes. With me, it's either likey or no likey.
I tried to force myself to use them for several hours straight yesterday and today, and I found that they gave me a bit of canal pain if I insert them to the second bend.
These fit issues, along with the fact that I can't use them without foam tips or EQ, have prompted me to sell them.
I think they're just not meant for me... and I had so much hope for them too.
Is that you in the picture...
An interesting tomscy2000th post.
On my way to my office now to pick up the 80 and 70.
I like how there is a JVC sticker on her arm...rofl
Well alright alright!! I decided to start with the FXD70, since there is so much written already on the FXD70. Only 10 minutes in the ears (using tips that came on them, and a great fit!). Smooth and kind of balanced sound to my ear. Excellent instrument separation. Listening to Miles "Kind of Blue" (Lossless). Lots of black space around the trumpet. Bass is deep but nothing sound more forward than the other in the sound spectrum to my ears (yet). Sounds kind of neutral to my ears. But probably already one of the most clean and clear dynamics I've ever heard (not counting the hybrid e-Q7). I will have more thoughts later, of course.
