I seriously hope that the denon urban raver d400 really do have diohreea inducing madness bass if not then I'm going to be mad. I want a bass headphone that does not sound like beats.

I know about ultrasones and according to crinacle he told me that ath pro 700 are a downgrade from beats pro. Since denon is respected here I'm looking into the d400

I bought them for $200 and returned them because they were overpriced.  They don't have anything resembling quality bass, or midrange, or highs.  IMO, stay far, far away.

Denons.  I never thought I would say this, but the Beats are way better than the Denon D400.  Although in this price range, you may want to consider the M-100 or Momentum.

In essence beats is crap, and denon D400 is groundbreakingly crap. And we are very disappointed.

Yah I would watch amazon and swoop up the last of the new older versions of the denon headphones. The d-5000 been pretty darn cheap this last week. Might have to click on the used section but they're preety much brand new from the warehouse. The d2's and 7's have been quite pricey but I bet you will see something coming up here soon. I think amazon may have had a sale on the d2's a couple months ago. Maybe that was it.

Just checked it and it looks like you are out of luck if you want a new d7. The d5 keeps getting cheaper $447 rite now. I think the d2's are going to follow shortly after them. It does look like the d-600 is a worthwile headphone. Very dissappointing for the rest of the line. Why mess up a good thing?

Does anyone have anything to say about the wireless AH-w150 'exercise freak' headphones?

I've read polar reviews on amazon-- but I am looking for a high quality BT earphone that I can workout with.

Found a deal on them for just over a bill... I have to purchase them tonight though.  I was wondering if anyone had anything to say?

I have them, but I haven't opened the box yet.  I was planning on doing a review of them - and so the first step is a pristine package and unit (which requires an unopened box).

However, a buddy of mine also has them.  And he says that the fit pretty securely, although it can sometimes be a bit tricky getting a good seal.  As for the SQ, he says they're kind of bassy.

Don't know a thing about the W200 though.

ooooo, will await your review. Bassy works fine for gym. As long as their is no sibilance, or obvious distracting characteristics. getting distracted or a sibilance spike at the bottom of a 120kg squat is not pleasant

It also sucks for a long run.

I might take the plunge on the Denons then and cross my fingers that I don't have mine die like some others have reported.

Wait, that doesn't seem like a smart consumer move...

Hehe, that might take a little time.  I've got three iems, three cans, and an amp to review before I even get to the Exercise Freaks.  I'll try to take the pics soon though, so that I can at least get an audition in for ya (or maybe borrow my friend's unit).

LOL, I would think that anything unexpected at the bottom of a squat is going to be unpleasant.  wink.gif

I say go for it.  If you don't like 'em, you can always return 'em.

As far as the dying thing goes, are these dying on people within the warranty period?  Because then it's just a easy replacement right?
