should i upgrade?

Im currently using a pair of bose ie2s..in ear headphones. I really want to upgrade to a really good over the ear phones. I listen to a lot of heavy rock and dubstep, and after extensive research i came across the m-audio q40s . Is the increase in sound quality worth it? Im very unfamiliar with over the ear headphones . Thanks

Yes, coming from Iems to full size there will be significant changes on sound signature. 

 

Btw, have you tried this?
