I'm from Northville, and could even host. Our Subdivision has a rather large meeting room that can be rented for $35 for 4 hours (1PM-5PM). I'd be willing to put up that small amount up. But I'm also open to travel. I'm pretty reguarly in Lansing, Jackson and the GR/Battle Creek/Kalamazoo area. I can bring the following, AKG 518LE, Grado SR60, and Koss Porta Pro's, and if it's local a Denon Amp. Also, Jude is local, any Michigan meetup should include him.

Probably best to come up with a location and time first, then a new thread. That way we can use that thread to focus on what we will bring, and the thrad title will announce that there is a new meetup. Right now, it's just vaporware

on being able to come to the Head-Fi meet.
Head-Fi meets > weddings, obviously.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
But seriously, congrats on getting married! Wewt!
I'll be moving in with my soulmate sometime this summer. That's why I'm not sure if I'll be in Saginaw this summer or not.
Doesn't bother me; I'll go to a MI meet regardless of where it's being held
That's no big deal. I have a few things I can bring, and I'm sure others do, too.
Where are you in mid-Michigan? It would help those of us on the west side if the location were between Lansing and Detroit somewhere near 96. I bet that would average out pretty well for most people south and north, too.
I'm in East Lansing. And I could bring my Reference 10, but I'm seriously considering selling my denons for a pair of LCD-2's, so I'd be without cans. My friend has a hd595 and my old Audio-gd Fun.
Distance isn't as much a factor provided we can take time off work long enough in advanced.
I work at the Kellogg hotel and conference center on MSU's campus. Link for science: http://www.kelloggcenter.com/index.html
I don't think I could get a price drop (and it can get expensive), but i'd say if we chose to use it for a small meeting it would be $50 to rent a conference room for a few hours. We've had the odd lan party here before (not me, some other group), probably because the lan speed is quite fast.
