Casual Tokyo get together. - Page 2

Potentially good news!

1. I may have found another place to host the mini meet on 23 June: my appartment complex rents a pretty large room by the hour (kita-ku, 10 minutes walk from oji-kamiya station on nambiku sen line.
2. The rental fee is really low, like 1000 jpy/ hour (no drinks, food though, just a meeting room).
3. If we hold it there, I can attend (will have my 2 daughters with me though).

I'll be checking with the appartment office if you guys are interested, let me know.

Ok guys, I'm most likely in for the 23rd. Sorry I can't help much with anything, I'm still on business trip (currently writing from Calcutta airport lounge).

Thank you very much to ExpatInJapan for hosting today's meet in his home. We're eternally grateful and hope we didn't create too much of a mess. It was a nice warm and cosy gathering and everyone didn't waste any time jumping straight into checking out each other's gear.

Thanks all for a perfect day.

 

There are many items I would love to have a longer listen to, ...next time.

I need to develop a better listening ear and get more systematic in my `testing`.

 

Not sure  what my favorites were just yet.

 

And thank you again everyone for bringing all that wonderful gear for us to try.

I've updated the spreadsheet now and removed late May/early June. I've also further populated the Fujiya July 7th Portable Festival and I guess we can meet there instead.

 

Please feel free to populate your August dates or make any corrections to your existing entries.

 

@Currawong: it looks like we're currently carrying on this same thread which may inevitably end up permanent. You're ok with that? If so, maybe the thread subject should be changed?
